The #93 moved into second on the all-time list after the French GP, so can the six-time MotoGP Champion catch the seven-time MotoGP title winner?
115 – the number of MotoGP podiums Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) now has to his name after a P2 finish in a historic Michelin Grand Prix of France.
It was Marquez’s fourth Sunday podium of the season, and arguably his most important yet. With title rivals Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) both notching up a scoreless Sunday in Le Mans, the #93 galloped to a 22-point title chase lead ahead of a date with Silverstone.

But there was more significance to the rostrum. Marquez moved past Jorge Lorenzo in the all-time MotoGP podiums chart to see him stand alone in second. Valentino Rossi’s 199 total is the record that rests a long way up the road from the rest, so can Marquez eventually equal – or surpass – the seven-time MotoGP World Champion’s colossal tally?
That, of course, remains to be seen. In the meantime, why not enjoy some of Marquez’s famous podium finishes from recent years? For free!
