In this episode Jonny Smith gets permission to film inside France's Douei eco factory that produces the new award winning R5 and other EVs as efficiently as possible. Using millions of data capture, renewable energy and recycled materials, combined with robot tech and locally sourced components the R5 factory was rebuilt in 2020 after making over 8 million retro Renaults since 1972. The first car built there? The original (now classic) Renault 5 model.
